Crystal Dunlap was born and raised in Raleigh, NC.  A graduate of Leesville Road High School, Crystal was a part of the inaugural first season of fast-pitch softball in Wake County Schools as a starting pitcher on the 1996 Leesville Varsity Softball Team.  She traveled the east coast playing on competitive NC ASA travel ball teams and was given the rare opportunity to train with a top NCAA Division 1 pitching coach to perfect her skills.  Since then, Crystal has been teaching private pitching lessons for almost 10 years and started coaching travel ball herself 7 years ago.  In 2019, Crystal was asked to be the Head Coach of the Junior Legion Softball Team for Post 187 in what was North Carolina's inaugural season of Legion Softball.  She went on to be chosen by her peers as the Head Coach of the 2019 Junior Legion All Star team that played on the UNC Softball field.  She continues her passion for the sport as FUNGO's Director of Coaching for Softball, Staff Pitching Coach, and offers private lessons on the side.  For questions or private lessons, please contact her at [email protected] or 919-219-5154.
